Priorities

Restoring the American Dream

When I was growing up in Bucks County, reaching the American Dream wasn’t a slogan, it was what middle-class families believed was achievable for generations. It’s something I saw my parents and grandparents achieve, that if you worked hard, you played by the rules, you were able to build a life to be proud of. Today, the American Dream is out of reach for most families – as we’ve seen a period of stagnant wages, high inflation, and abandonment of the middle-class.

It’s not fair that Washington has been rigged in favor of the billionaires and the well-connected special interests. Brian Fitzpatrick is part of the problem. We need to do better.

I’m running for Congress because we need new leadership in Washington. People around the district are angry, and I’m angry too. I’m running for Congress to fight for working families, strengthen the middle class, protect our freedoms and restore fairness.

Rebuild an Economy That Works for Everyone

Lower the Cost of Living for Working Families

Too many working families in Bucks and Montgomery Counties are working hard and yet they’re getting squeezed while billionaires and big corporations cash in. That’s not fair. In Congress, I’ll fight to make life more affordable by taking on the real causes of rising costs. That means repealing chaotic Trump tariffs against our allies that are driving up grocery prices and energy prices, supporting small businesses with better access to capital and fewer bureaucratic roadblocks, and raising the federal minimum wage so that hard work actually pays the bills. As a proud card carrying union member, I’ll always stand with workers by protecting the right to organize and collectively bargain. I’m not afraid to join the picket line as I’ve done time and again for workers in this district. Strong unions mean higher wages and a stronger middle class.

Fight Corruption

Our democracy shouldn’t be for sale to the highest bidder. That’s why I support bold campaign finance reform to get dark money out of our elections and end the stranglehold special interests have on Washington. I’ll push to ban members of Congress from trading individual stocks, ban members of Congress from becoming lobbyists, and bring real transparency and accountability to how decisions get made. It’s time for a government that works for you, not for billionaire donors and Washington insiders.

Reform the Tax Code to Help the Middle Class

Right now, billionaires and giant corporations use loopholes to dodge taxes and ship jobs overseas while working families foot the bill. I’ll push for meaningful tax relief for the middle class, putting more money back in your pocket, where it belongs. At the same time, I’ll fight to close those loopholes and make sure the ultra-wealthy and big businesses pay their fair share. It’s time we had a tax system that actually works for the people who keep this country running.

Invest in the American Middle Class

Build Homes for Middle Class Americans, Cut Regulatory Red Tape

High housing costs and a shortage of housing working people can afford are leaving too many families without options.Today, we need a new national commitment to build attainable starter homes for today’s workforce. I’ll push for serious investment to make that a reality, by cutting outdated red tape, supporting local builders, and making it easier for young families and working people to own a home. Wall Street shouldn’t be turning family homes into profit machines while working families get priced out of the American Dream. I’ll fight to stop corporate investors from buying up our neighborhoods and make sure homes are for people, not hedge funds.

Education for the Future

As a former public school teacher, I know our education system must prepare students for life, not just tests. That means investing in early childhood education like Pre-K and kindergarten, expanding access to technical education and civics education, and ensuring every student learns the real-world personal finance skills. Every younger person coming out of high school should be prepared to succeed whether they’re headed right into the workforce, into the military, or to college. I want to make college more affordable and will invest more resources in job training programs and apprenticeships for people to gain the skills they need to fill good paying, family sustaining jobs.

21st Century Infrastructure for a 21st Century Economy

America can’t compete in a 21st Century economy with 20th Century infrastructure. From crumbling roads to unreliable broadband and an outdated energy grid, we’re falling behind. I’ll fight for smart, forward-looking investments that modernize our infrastructure which will create good-paying union jobs, cut carbon emissions, and make it easier for families and businesses to thrive. I’ll build on the Infrastructure Act to repair roads, upgrade bridges, and expand public transit so our communities stay connected and safe. This isn’t just about fixing what’s broken, it’s about building what’s next.

Expanding Affordable Healthcare

If elected, one of my first priorities will be to reverse the healthcare cuts Brian Fitzpatrick is responsible for helping pass in the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill.” Those cuts put lifesaving care further out of reach for too many families, while giving tax breaks for billionaires. I’ll fight to restore that crucial funding to programs like Medicaid and make sure every family has access to affordable, quality healthcare. Quality healthcare that includes dental, vision, and mental healthcare services. Our communities deserve leaders who put people’s health ahead of corporate profits.

Abortion is healthcare. I believe that women should be able to make their own reproductive healthcare choices, not the government. I’ll support funding Planned Parenthood.

No one should go bankrupt just because they got sick. There’s no reason the wealthiest country in the world should have an inaccessible healthcare system because it is too expensive. I’ll protect Medicare and Medicaid, expand access to affordable care, and lower the cost of prescription drugs. I’ll take action to ensure no one is buried under crushing medical debt.

Building Stronger, Safer Communities

Keep Our Streets Safe

Every family deserves to feel safe in their community. Just as I’ve done as a County Commissioner, I’ll support increasing funding for local law enforcement and expand upon proven strategies like co-responder programs that embed social workers with local police departments so that police officers can focus on fighting crime and keeping us safe and social workers can deal with non-emergency situations to get people the help they need. Real public safety means addressing the root causes of violence and supporting solutions like investing in addiction and mental health treatment facilities for non-violent offenders.

Protect America from Emerging Threats

Protecting America means being ready for the threats of today and tomorrow from cyber attacks and terrorism to foreign aggression. I’ll fight to restore critical cybersecurity funding, strengthen our national defense, and ensure our military is equipped and respected. No service member should be defending our nation while their family struggles to put food on the table. It’s time we pay our troops a fair and dignified wage.

Standing Up for our Veterans at Home and Abroad

Our veterans have sacrificed for our freedom, and we have a duty to honor that service not just in words, but in action. I’ll fight to improve wages and benefits for veterans, ensuring they can build secure, dignified lives after their service. We must strengthen the VA so it delivers timely, quality care, with expanded mental health resources for those facing invisible wounds. Protecting our veterans means honoring both our past and our future, making sure no one who wore the uniform is left behind. I will always stand with those who stood for us.
